2024 Fall Leaf Composting

The City of Durango has partnered with Table to Farm Compost to collect bagged leaves on demand, separate from your standard Fall Cleanup collections week. Residents can place up to 10 paper leaf bags out on the curb anytime between September 30th and November 29th for free pick-up! Leaves will be composted at the Table to Farm Compost facility.
Follow these three easy steps:
1. Purchase approved 30-gallon compostable paper leaf bags (Kroegers Ace Hardware, Home Depot, City Market, Walmart).
NO plastic or plastic-lined bags!
2. Sign up for leaf bag pick up on this site*.
Please only sign up once you are ready to have your bags picked up.
3. Immediately after signing up, place up to 10 paper bags filled with leaves on your curb.
DO NOT seal bags with tape or staples!
*If you are an existing Table to Farm customer, do not create a new account. Instead, login to your customer portal and place an “order” in the shop only when your bags are on the curb. This is an on-demand service that will not occur on your regularly scheduled recycling day.
